We also recognized two amazing woman… Miss Connie (Lamb Room teacher) and Elaine (administrative support). They both retired this year… and will be VERY MISSED. Thank you for all you’ve done and for touching the lives of so many young people. We are blessed!

They played “old time” games like Duck, Duck, Grey Duck (or goose 🙂) and London Bridges.

They did some “chore” games like watering the chickens, and filling up the wood box. They were really excited when they got to feed the chickens dandelions. They had a blast!

What a fun way to end the year!

Our preschoolers had a blast looking for hidden animals, exploring the woods, playing in the Nature Center play area, touching animals found in the woods of MN and learning about the many animals they see each day.

They learned that air is all around us and the World. They learned how hot air rises and cold air sinks. These guys worked extremely hard making Valentines for each of their friends (all the residents) at Beacon Hill Assisted Living. The Valentines were hung on each door to surprise the residents as they left their apartments to eat breakfast. The residents loved the surprise from their young friends. These kids love their time with the residents and it shows in the effort and the time they spent on each Valentine.

Sometimes friendships develop in amazing ways and the Love of Jesus is shared by the little things we do.

They decorated hats and fun glasses, and created a portrait of them at 100 years old. They have been collecting postcards from all over the world to get to 100, counted to 100 using different objects, discovered what they could do in 100 seconds, and searched for 100 lost chicks after the Story Lady read “The Wolf’s Chicken Stew”.

It was a great day celebrating 100!

The kids really enjoy their time with Ray and are learning many skills that will take them far in their future drawings.
